The Corporation is hosting a regional workshop being organised by the Africa Regional Committee (ARC) of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI).  The workshop which is essentially a capacity building initiative will hold at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja between May 9 and 13, 2011.  The theme of the workshop is Resolution of Problem Banks: Purchase and Assumption (P & A) Option.

The broad objective of the workshop is to sharpen the skills of the participants on P&A as a failure resolution option and will feature a series of capacity building sessions with 35 partcipants from deposit insurance institutions in USA, Malaysia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Nigeria.
