INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CLEANING AND GARDENING SERVICES AT THE ILORIN ZONAL OFFICE.
The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) wishes to invite reputable companies with track record of good performance and cognate experience in Cleaning and Gardening to tender for the Cleaning and Gardening Services at its Ilorin Zonal Office (No. 12A, Sulu Gambari Road, G.R.A. Ilorin).
SCOPE OF WORKS
The scope of works includes but not limited to the following:
- Daily cleaning of the office and premises; floor tiles inclusive,
- Tendering of flowers and gardening,
- Cleaning of windows and Burglar grilles,
- Cleaning of Venetian blinds,
- Polishing of marble/granite surfaces with approved chemicals every two weeks.
- Gardening Services.
BIDDING CONDITIONS
i. Bills of quantities stating details of bidding requirements for the Financial Bid, are available for collection by prospective bidders at NDIC, Ilorin Zonal Office.(No. 12A Sulu Gambari Road, G.R.A. Ilorin).
ii. Bidders are advised to visit the Ilorin Zonal Office to acquaint themselves with the scope of works before tendering.
TENDER REQUIREMENTS
Interested bidders must satisfy the following minimum requirements:
a. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
b. Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association
c. Last three years Company's Audited Accounts
d. Last three years Tax Clearance Certificate.
e. VAT Registration Certificate.
f. Evidence of VAT remittance.
g. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project
h. Bank reference from reputable Bank
i. Evidence to show fulfillment of Company's obligations with respect to pensions, as well as evidence of remittance.
j. Evidence of past similar experience.
k. Profile of Management Staff.
l. Evidence of Company not being in receivership and any of the Directors not convicted.
m. Any other relevant information/documentation to enhance the company's application.
SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The tender must be submitted on or before two weeks from the date of advert (26/7/2010), securely bound and enclosed in a sealed envelope that is marked at top right-hand corner, “TENDER FOR CLEANING AND GARDENING SERVICES AT THE ILORIN ZONAL OFFICE."

Submission of tender by post or courier will not be accepted. Tenderers are expected to sign register before dropping their tenders in the tender box on the second floor of above address. Any tender/document submitted after 4pm on the date and time specified above stands disqualified.
OPENING OF TENDERS
Opening of tenders shall be at 5.00pm on the date of closure of submission.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
i. Failure to satisfactorily fulfill the conditions stated above will result to
invalidation of such tender.
ii. Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) shall reserve the right to verify the authenticity of claim(s) made by the tenderers.
iii. Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) shall reserve the right to reject any submission based on unverifiable information.
iv. This advertisement also serves as invitation to any interested NGO and members of the general Public who may wish to witness the opening exercise.
